SEOUL - North Korea’s indoctrination centre in Pyongyang now displays a photo of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol alongside the South Korean military’s motto for countering provocations from Pyongyang – “immediately, strongly and to the end” – according to an image published by North Korean state media.
Mr Yoon’s photo was displayed under the title “The vicious main culprit of the confrontation mentality against the Republic”, a reference to North Korea, formally known as the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. The Central Class Education House, inaugurated in 2016 to commemorate the 66th anniversary of the start of the Korean War on June 25, 1950, serves as a key hub for fostering hostility towards South Korea, the US and Japan while reinforcing ideological indoctrination.
