North Cowichan is holding a free community event on Sunday, June 17, to celebrate its 150th anniversary since incorporation.
North Cowichan is celebrating its 150th anniversary.Between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., events will be taking place at Waterwheel Park in Chemainus.
“This is a significant milestone for North Cowichan, and an opportunity to look ahead to our future,” said Mayor Rob Douglas in a news release. This event kicks off the celebrations that will take place over the year to mark the milestone anniversary.
