North African Giants Join Chiefs & Downs In Race For Mokwana
The Siya crew has been reliably informed that Sekhukhune United have given Elias Mokwana 's camp permission to secure a move for the player, with Tunisia n giants Esperance joining two DStv Premiership big guns in trying to sign the Bafana Bafana attacker.
Mokwana has been one of the star performers for Sekhukhune and it comes as no surprise that he has attracted interest both on the continent and domestically.Since getting an opportunity to don senior national team colours under head coach Hugo Broos, there has been more exposure for the player and it appears there is genuine interest coming from up north of the continent.
He has made four Bafana Bafana appearances and has scored one goal, on his debut against Andorra in March, which was followed by an assist in the next international friendly against Algeria. Tunisian giants Esperance, who knocked out Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League semi-finals, are understood to be interested in the attacker and have made contact, while both Kaizer Chiefs and the DStv Premiership champions are serious in getting the player on board for next season. Both DStv Premiership giants have made contact in an effort to sign the 24-year-old.
