A high impact storm will arrive Monday night and last through the day Tuesday, dropping perhaps the largest snowstorm for the city of Boston in nearly two years.

From record breaking high temperatures Saturday to a Nor'easter on the way — that's certainly some weather whiplash for you. Until then, temperatures are still well above average Sunday, around 50 degrees. And high temperatures will reach 45 to 50 again Monday. Get outside and enjoy it because a snap back to reality is on the way.

With astronomical high tides and the onshore wind piling up, crashing waves at the shore will result in beach erosion and minor coastal flooding for multiple tide cycles. There's a low chance that a few spots on the bay side of Cape Cod could come close to moderate pockets of coastal flooding. The remainder of this week looks quiet but cold, with temperatures generally running in the 30s.
