SEATTLE – Azuolas Tubelis and Oumar Ballo both had double-doubles, while guard Kerr Kriisa hit 6 of 11 3-pointers over the Washington zone defense, to help Arizona beat Washington 95-72 on Saturday at Hec Edmundson Pavilion.
Keion Brooks had 25 points and six rebounds to lead Washington, which dropped to 13-10 overall and 5-7 in Pac-12 play. Leading by just two after halftime, 44-42, Arizona broke the game open with a 19-1 run thanks to five combined 3-pointers from Kriisa and Ramey. While Washington cut it to 73-63 with 5:59 left on a jumper from Cole Bajema, the Wildcats then rattled off nine straight points to put the game away.
