No. 11 Missouri will open the season against Murray State on Thursday night at sold-out Faurot Field. The Tigers are coming off an 11-win season capped by a victory over Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl. They return quarterback Brady Cook, Heisman Trophy-contending wide receiver Luther Burden III and several other key players from that team.

The Tigers had to replace more on defense — defensive lineman Darius Robinson, top cornerbacks Ennis Rakestraw Jr. and Kris Abrams-Drain, playmaking linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper, safety Jaylon Carlies and several others.
