The Water and Sanitation Department has intervened as Day Zero fast approaches in Nelson Mandela Bay.
GQEBERHA - Nelson Mandela Bay Water and Sanitation Director, Barry Martin, says Day Zero hasn't arrived yet.
Dam levels remain low as residents and authorities hope for rainfall to avoid the dire situation of taps running dry."The biggest mitigation is to cut out our daily water consumption," Martin said. "As metro, we are backing that up by fixing the water leaks. Also bringing our borehole water to stream in two months."
