Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services is warning of a privacy breach related to an email that was sent to 116 fertility patients.
The organization says that the recipients of the email were not blind copied, meaning all who received the email were able to see other fertility patients. The health authority is apologizing for the error and has notified the Information and Privacy Commissioner. They say they have identified all patients who have been impacted by the breach and are in the process of contacting them and requesting they delete the email.
