Nintendo has announced a new set of four classic Mega Drive (or Genesis, for our US friends) titles coming to the Nintendo Switch Online service from today.
There’s a couple of big names in this latest batch, particularly that of Street Fighter 2: Special Champion Edition. This added four more characters to the playable SF2 roster in the form of Balrog, Vega, Sagat and M. Bison as well as an additional game mode based on Hyper Fighting.
All four games are available on the Expansion Pack tier of the service, which also gets you access to a selection of N64 and GBA games, as well as the, Animal Crossing New Horizon’s Happy Home Paradise expansion and the Splatoon 2 Octo expansion. Other Mega Drive games available on the service include Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Comix Zone, Streets of Rage 2 and Golden Axe to name but four out of the 40 other titles. Recently, the Nintendo Switch Online service also saw the addition of Pokemon Stadium for the N64, which arrived earlier in the month.
