South Africa’s continuing battle with xenophobia has taken the life of another foreign African after Okechukwu Henry from Nigeria’s Imo State was stabbed to death by unidentified robbers in Mpumalanga over the weekend.
A distraught Okoli said his organisation had grown tired of sending his compatriots home in body bags due to what he said was premeditated and organised crime against them in South Africa. The late Henry, a car dealer who dealt in specialised vehicles, lived in Middleburg in Mpumalanga Province.
