Back in the 1950s, the iconic Hollywood actress sported a similar fit while modelling on the beach. Nicole even mimicked one of Marilyn's classic shots as she posed with her arms above her head, looking sideways with her eyes shut. Then there are the final two slides in her carousel, showing the "real goof girl" that she claims to be.
Despite the UK weather not proving to be swimsuit appropriate this summer, after seeing these pictures we immediately started scouring the internet for other cut-out swimsuits to snap up. Here's what we came up with:
