The man was convicted of common assault, harrassment and making threats to kill against her
A Co Antrim woman says that she fears leaving her own home due to a neighbour who has been convicted of harassing her.
In March, 2023, Stewart pled guilty to charges of harassment, common assault and making threats to kill, with him receiving a suspended prison sentence and being made the subject of a restraining order.Since then Stewart has continued to live in the property beside Jemma, with her saying that it has her constantly living on edge as she is scared of meeting him when she leaves her front door.
Jemma said: "I just cannot understand why this man is still allowed to live beside me after everything that I have been through. I hoped that this would all have stopped once he was convicted in court. "This man admitted that he harassed and made threats to kill against me in court, yet it seems to be ok that he is allowed to live right beside me.
