The energy company says it is continuing to keep its prices under review for the Greater Belfast area
The largest supplier of natural gas in Northern Ireland has announced a third price reduction this year from October in the Ten Towns network.
Firmus says its third reduction of the year equates to a 40% drop in its energy prices, saving customers £865 on their average annual bill.Energy suppliers are regulated businesses in Northern Ireland, and the tariff decrease follows a review process carried out by the company and approved by the Utility Regulator.
“We know there are many competing demands on people’s finances, and we want to reassure our customers that when we are able to cut our prices we will do so, without delay, as we have demonstrated throughout 2023.”
