St Patrick's Athletic beat Bohemians 3-1 at Aviva Stadium on Sunday
It was a day of bittersweet emotions for Ryan McLaughlin as St Patrick's Athletic clinched the FAI Cup at Aviva Stadium.It was a showpiece occasion and a momentous win for Saints boss Jon Daly. Goals from Mark Doyle, Krystian Nowak and Tommy Lonergan earned them their win.All three goals came after Jonathan Afolabi had given Bohs the lead from the penalty spot in the ninth minute.
The 29-year-old was still part of the club's big day, and despite not kicking a ball in anger he was right among the celebrations.He shared a photograph showing him holding the cup, wearing an official St Pat's cup final suit, with the caption: "John Terry."
