Health unions and ministers have reached a deal on pay, the government has announced.
Nurses, ambulance workers, physiotherapists and other NHS workers will be awarded a one-off lump sum of 6 per cent for this year plus an enhanced pay offer for next year, believed to be close to 5 per cent.
