Mads Sogaard’s success hasn’t gone unnoticed.

“I just try to treat every game the same, my preparation is alway the same,” Sogaard said. “It’s just hockey I try not to overthink it. It’s what I’ve been doing since I was four-years-old. I’m just having fun and making the most of this opportunity that’s been given to me and working as hard as I can.”“He’s really confident and calm,” Smith said. “Clearly, he’s done a good job for us for a long time. The guys have played confident in front of him.
Sogaard is the second Senators’ player to earn the honours this season. Centre Shane Pinto was named October’s top rookie.
