Suspected cocaine worth estimated £100,000 seized from car in Northern Ireland
Suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of £100,000 has been seized by police in Newtownabbey, in County Antrim.
Police were conducting a patrol at Mallusk Road shortly after 19:30 GMT on Friday when they approached a man in a parked grey Volkswagen Passat car.The suspected drugs were found inside the car, police said. In a separate incident in Banbridge, County Down, on Saturday, police seized suspected class A drugs worth an estimated £25,000.
At 16:15 GMT, officers said they noticed a car speeding on the Drumsallagh Road. They stopped it and spoke to the driver and passenger who fled the scene.Police are looking for the two men who were in the car.
