The once popular Cape Times and Cape Argus , although they showed increases over the last quarter, were down a whopping 24.9% and 27.7%, respectively, year-on-year.Little wonder then that the Media24 stable has elected to either sell – or cull – many of their weekend newspapers.Overall, the magazine category had a 2.9% rise QoQ and an 18.4% increase YoY highlighting the resilience of the magazine industry.
