Newmont also reported that its Q3 2022 attributable gold equivalent ounce production from other metals decreased 5% to 299 thousand ounces primarily due to lower ore grade milled at Peñasquito. Newmont added that its Q3 2022 revenue decreased 9% from the prior year quarter to $2.6 billion primarily due to lower average realized metal prices, excluding zinc, and lower sales volumes.

Adjusted net income was $212 million or $0.27 per diluted share, compared to $483 million or $0.60 per diluted share in the prior year quarter.
