Irene Stack won $1-million from an Aug. 13 Lotto 6/49 draw. ContributedPARADISE, N.L. — Irene Stack decided to change up her regular lottery tickets when she bought a Lotto 6/49 ticket at the Paradise Orangestore that turned out to be a $1-million winner.

Atlantic Lottery said Stack normally plays Set for Life or Lotto Max but, after a gas fill-up decided to buy a Lotto 6/49 ticket instead since it was the night of the Aug. 13 draw.“I checked my ticket with the Atlantic Lottery app after I heard there was a winner in Paradise,” Stack said. “When I scanned it, it said ‘Major Winner’, so I checked the numbers online and didn’t quite believe what I was seeing.”
