On Thursday and again early next week, the Labrador-Island Link will operate at higher power levels. Hydro said it will keep an eye on the electricity system and weather to ensure it controls danger to customers.As part of the testing, electricity equipment may come offline or trip suddenly. These outages, called"under frequency load shedding," are meant to safeguard equipment.
