Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson has suffered yet another injury setback and fans have reacted with major frustration.
Wilson has managed just two starts this calendar year. Despite his latest setback, Newcastle reportedly have no plans to alter their January transfer strategy. The Daily Mail also suggest Anthony Gordon will act as a “backup” for Alexander Isak in the striker role. However, not all fans have taken a critical stance. One expressed sympathy for the forward, stating they “feel sorry” for Wilson and hope young striker William Osula gets an opportunity to step up.
