Max Kilman is on Newcastle's radar for the summer, but it's expected they'll not be only side in the mix for him

Date published: Sunday 26th February 2023 1:15 -Newcastle United are reportedly keen on signing Wolves centre-back Max Kilman, but ‘it is believed’ they’ll ‘face stiff competition following his performances this season’.

This term, he’s yet to miss a game, starting in all 24 of the club’s league games. In fact, he’s not missed a single minute of league action so far. The report does not specifically name any sides that might be interested in taking Kilman on board other than the Magpies., after sending scouts to watch him. While nothing came of it, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the free-spending Blues had him on their list for this summer.

Chris Wood, Dan Burn and Nick Pope all fall into that category. Despite Sven Botman and Fabian Schar’s solid partnership at the back – the Magpies have conceded 15 league goals this season, the lowest in the league – Kilman would be another good addition.
