Newcastle are currently third on the Premier League table, nine points clear of fifth-placed Liverpool, and will host Arsenal at home this coming weekend. The Geordie club is now reportedly eyeing a blockbuster move for Blaugrana star Raphinha, who left Leeds United for the LaLiga leaders just last year in a record sale for the Whites.
According to Spanish journalist Gerard Romero, Newcastle are willing to pay up to €80 million for the 26-year-old's signature. Newcastle have offered Barça around €80m for Raphinha. This offer is in the current economic plan and La Liga are aware of this verbal proposal. —
