In response to TODAY's queries on Friday, Singapore's national water agency PUB said that it was alerted to a"pipe leak" at 2.15pm in a construction site along 2 Orchard Link.In a 47-second video on Facebook, water can be seen spurting upwards, reaching the height of several metres.NEWwater is high-grade recycled water produced from treated used water that is further purified to make it ultra-clean and safe to drink, PUB's website states.
Apart from being added to Singapore's reservoirs to blend with raw water during dry periods, it is used mainly for industrial and air-conditioner cooling purposes at commercial buildings and industrial plants.
