From 2 March fully vaccinated travellers will no longer need to self-isolate after entering New Zealand in changes to COVID-19 restrictions announced by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Monday.
However, all unvaccinated travellers will still need to complete a period in New Zealand’s quarantine system.

Try 1 month free now However, while self-isolation rules have been scrapped, travellers will still be required to undertake a pre-departure test, and RAT tests will be required on arrival and on day five.
"If anyone returns a positive result they will be required to report it and isolate for the same period as a community case,” he said.
