New York proves that Amazon Go works
Rus Loeffler, a 26-year-old nurse living in New York, was visiting Brookfield Place in downtown Manhattan on Monday with a friend when they decided to check out the Amazon Go store there for the first time to see if the concept lived up to all the hype.
It'll be popular “especially for people in my age, millennials, who are listening to their music” on headphones, he told me. “If I want to be anti-social, I can just go in and leave without talking to people. I go to Whole Foods, and I stand in line for 15 minutes. You just walk right out here.
