New York’s attorney general Letitia James has filed a civil lawsuit against former US President Donald Trump and members of his family, alleging ‘numerous acts of fraud’.
Ms James alleges Mr Trump falsely inflated his worth to : “unjustly enrich himself and to cheat the system, thereby cheating all of us. He did this with the help of the other defendants”.
New York State Attorney General Letitia James has filed a lawsuit against former President Donald Trump, three of his adult children, and the Trump Organization She is also seeking to ban Mr Trump and the Trump Organization from entering into commercial real estate acquisitions for five years, from getting loans from New York banks for five years, and wants an independent monitor appointed for at least five years to oversee the Trump Organization’s financial reporting, compliance, valuations and disclosures to lenders, insurers and tax authorities.
Donald Trump Junior., Ivanka Trump, former President Donald Trump and Eric Trump, are facing a lawsuit, alongside the senior executives of the Trump Organization for alleged fraud by the New York attorney-general.
