Riot Games has revealed the new Valorant map, Abyss, and it is the game's deadliest battlefield yet as it is the first with zero boundaries.
Valorant Episode 9 is a couple of weeks away, but before then we will be treated to the release of Riot Games’ brand new map, Abyss. It has just been revealed, and the fresh battlefield looks absolutely amazing. Not only does it look aesthetically pleasing, but it is also Riot’s deadliest playground yet as Abyss is the first Valorant map to feature zero boundaries. The new map will be introduced as part of patch 8.11.
It has a vertical landscape with precarious pitfalls, and it is Riot’s deadliest playground yet. Below is a list of key features: 2 Spike Sites 3 Lane Layout “Death Drops” Creative “Jump Shortcuts” Branching mid paths Per a press release from Riot, Valorant’s lead map designer, Joey Simas, said, “For Abyss, we wanted to push players to think differently about how utility and movement can be used in exciting new ways”.
