Demkiw is a 30-year veteran of the TPS and in his latest role as Deputy Chief of Specialized Operations Command, he oversaw over 1,200 police officers, over 900 civilian members, and managed a budget of $240 million. Demkiw is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where he attended the Faculty of Law and completed the Global Professional Master of Laws program, and also has a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in both criminology and political science.Article content
