Star Wars offers new hints about Ahsoka's mysterious Inquisitor foe, Marrok, in a character profile teasing the upcoming Disney+ TV show.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT A new character profile has hinted at some of the secrets of Ahsoka's mysterious new Inquisitor, Marrok. Set roughly four years after the end of the Galactic Civil War, the Ahsoka Disney+ TV show stars Rosario Dawson as the titular former Jedi - as she seeks out Grand Admiral Thrawn, an Imperial leader whose return threatens to reignite the war.
"Once an Inquisitor hunting Jedi for the Empire, the mysterious Marrok now works as a mercenary hired by Morgan Elsbeth to carry out dark deeds. Fully encased in battered battle armor, the warrior still carries a red double-bladed saber with a circular hilt." The character profile reveals Marrok has become a mercenary after the fall of the Empire. He is one of three Force-sensitives hired by Diana Lee Inosanto's Morgan Elsbeth in her quest to find Grand Admiral Thrawn before Ahsoka.
What Secrets Does Marrok Hide In Ahsoka? Marrok is clearly a major villain in the Ahsoka Disney+ TV show, but his history is still something of a question mark. Until the first Ahsoka trailer, it had generally been believed all Darth Vader's Inquisitors were killed before the original trilogy; that explained their absence in the Galactic Civil War, and most notably why they Inquisitors never pursued Luke Skywalker.
The Imperial Inquisitors were skilled and ruthless, and Marrok appears to be one of the most dangerous; Ahsoka has dealt easily with other Inquisitors, but Marrok seems to be giving her much more difficulty in the Ahsoka trailers. This has led to speculation Marrok is simply an assumed name, an alias adopted after the fall of the Empire. If that is the case, Marrok could be a much more familiar foe - one with the necessary talents to take on a former Jedi trained by Anakin Skywalker himself.
