New purpose, same facility draws criticism over closure of former McCullough Centre
The Alberta government is opening a new recovery community west of Edmonton at the former McCullough Centre.
The province will be transforming a housing project that was closed into a long-term addiction program. While this is welcome news for those needing help, there is criticism that the centre shouldn't have closed in the first place — especially during a drug crisis. Chris Chacon reports.
