Paper Thin by BJ Lecours is on display at the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre
Local artist BJ Lecours stands near her new solo exhibition at the TD Arts Corridor at the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre. The exhibition explores different kinds of papers that are going extinct or changing meaning in society. - Vivian Ulinwa/SaltWire
The exhibition is a collaboration between TD Art Corridor and This Town is Small, which is a spaceless organization that provides support for contemporary art. “So, dictionaries, maps, catalogues, cookbooks, things that are being replaced by digital technology. And I've created works that sort of celebrate those papers, and also, a really nostalgic kind of tributes to those papers.”
