Amazon's custom streaming service Prime Video is known for its robust catalog, and there are plenty of new movies and TV shows coming to Prime Video in May 2023. First launched in 2006, Prime Video quickly proved itself to be so much more than a repository of content, and it even began producing its own shows and movies as well. Backed up by thousands of on-demand movies and series from every era, Prime Video is one of the largest streaming services available.
May 2 Prime Video has not just limited itself to new movies and TV shows each month, as the studio has even produced a wealth of hilarious stand-up comedy specials. Premiering on May 2, comedian Jimmy O. Yang once again takes the stage in his new hour-long special Jimmy O. Yang: Guess How Much? Yang had previously teamed up with Amazon to produce his 2020 special Jimmy O. Yang: Good Deal in 2020, and his newest block of comedy promises to be just as sidesplitting as the last.
May 10 Further improving Prime Video's already illustrious catalog of Spanish-language content, the 2023 comedy TV series La Vida Despues del Reality drops all six of the episodes of its inaugural season on May 10th. The show centers on a family that nearly falls apart after the matriarch goes off to participate in a reality show. The Colombian series began airing its first episode on May 2, and it comes to an international audience on Prime Video only a few days later.
May 18 After a successful first season in 2021, the reality series The Ferragnez returns for a second outing on May 18. The show follows the exploits of internet celebrities Chiara and Fedez Ferragni and pulls back the curtain on the most followed couple in the world. Like the previous season, all episodes of The Ferragnez season 2 will drop on the same day, May 18h.
