Latest Nottingham Forest news as Reds open new city centre store ahead of key Premier League clash
Nottingham Forest hope their new official store in the city centre can play a key role in helping to grow the club.
As part of the occasion, the Reds also took over the Nottingham Beach event. Various activities were laid on, including a Q&A with McGovern, Felipe and Hennessey, as well as live music. Other club legends are due to make an appearance as the event continues throughout the day as part of the build-up to tonight’s City Ground clash with Sheffield United.
“It connects us with the city. We’re in that slightly unusual position where the ground is outside the city, so it is a good way of connecting. We’re very happy with it. The store provides a hub for fans to purchase a variety of items, including this season’s new adidas kits. Felipe and Hennessey are yet to wear the shirts this term, due to injury, but both were grateful for the support shown by a strong crowd, who weren’t put off by the dismal weather.
