The mural was launched by youngsters who live on both sides of the gates

Committee members Raicheal, Tia, Grace and Nadia at the launch of Active Communities Network new mural on Northumberland Street, Revolution "Hope Unlocking Friendships".

A group of young people from the Active Communities Network launched the mural on Thursday, August 3, on Northumberland Street as part of their campaign to extend the open times of the peace gates past 6.30pm. This was putting off some young people from being able to attend programmes which could be resolved by altering the opening times of the gates.
