Visitors are challenged to solve puzzles showcasing the heritage of the 18th-century attraction

New Lanark heritage attraction has launched a new summer activity aiming to take visitors on a time-travelling adventure.

Heritage officer Lydia Housley plays central character Professor Amelia Swyft and said: “I was eager to guide our visitors through New Lanark’s rich heritage in a way that’s never been done before. New Lanark is a Unesco world heritage site showcasing the restored 18th-century mill village and combining industrial history and beautiful natural surroundings.
