Nasreddine Nabi is not far from being confirmed as the new Kaizer Chiefs head coach. Here’s all you need to know about the Tunisian.Nasreddine Nabi was born in Monastir, Tunisia in 1965 and has dual Tunisian and Belgian citizenship. Vastly experienced, he’s held head coaching roles in Libya, Sudan, Egypt, Italy, Tanzania and Morocco.Having got to grips with African football, especially in the North, Nasreddine Nabi will have plenty of tactical nous in his toolbox.
The Tunisian insisted on bringing his technical staff with him when initial talks between him and Amakhosi took place in July. The Chiefs board weren’t so happy about that condition but has and would potentially allow a new boss to bring his technical team along. That’s good news for Nabi and good news for the club.At his previous post with Young Africans in Tanzania, Nabi secured back-to-back trebles in unprecedented fashion. The stars may have aligned for him in those instances, but it’s still an unbelievably impressive feat to repeat.
