Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex at Cape Canaveral
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — After enduring years of delays and setbacks, the Boeing Starliner spacecraft is finally poised for its maiden voyage with a crew.
Propelled by the Atlas V rocket, liftoff is expected at 10:34 p.m. Dubbed the crew test flight, this mission will see the Starliner docking with the International Space Station before returning to Earth, with a planned landing in the Western United States. Now, the Starliner joins this esteemed lineage. Starliner's two main pieces are the crew module and service module, and the crew module is intended to be reused on 10 missions.
