New Egypt Star 'Linked' With Liverpool Amid Salah Exit Talks

A new Egyptian could be making his way to Liverpool with Mohamed Salah approaching his final year at the club.

Liverpool could be welcoming a new Egyptian star to their ranks as they are reportedly monitoring an attacker from the north African nation amid rumours of Mohamed Salah's potential exit from the club. After Saudi Pro League champions Al Ittihad made their interest in Salah known last year, reports suggest that they could be the 31-year-old's next destination in the next transfer window.

The two-time CAF Men's Player of the Year will have 12 months remaining on his existing Liverpool contract come the end of this campaign, and the Reds could cash in on their iconic talisman in the upcoming off-season. While the Pharaohs captain could leave Anfield, fans of the Merseysiders may not have to be without an Egyptian for too long, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reporting that the club is keeping a close eye on one of Salah's international teammates., has claimed that the six-time European champions are monitoring multiple players from German side Eintracht Frankfurt, and one of them is Omar Marmoush.

The Cairo native is currently enjoying the best form of his career at the Deutsche Bank Park, having scored 15 goals and provided six assists in all competitions so far this season. While it is said there is interest in him from the Reds, though, the same report claims there has not yet been any movement regarding their pursuit of Marmoush, with Frankfurt yet to place a price tag on the 25-year-old.
