A man was shot in the leg outside a venue where a Halloween party was taking place. The victim was attacked in a loading bay next to Un.titled Studio in Salford.

Detectives are checking CCTV for clues to the identity of the gunman and any possible getaway vehicle. So far no arrests have been made. The victim was driven to hospital by a friend and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Yesterday parts of fancy dress costumes and some gas canisters were spotted on the road where the incident was said to have happened.

A temporary event notice relating to Un.titled Studio in Astor Road appears on Salford council's website reveals that an event starting at 8pm on Saturday had been planned. The notice states the event, which involved the sale of alcohol, regulated entertainment and late refreshment, would end by 3am. Police are now appealing to the public for information regarding this incident, urging anyone who was at the event to contact GMP.
