Alabama football general manager Courtney Morgan will have a new contract considered this week.
A new deal for Morgan will be considered on Tuesday during the compensation committee meeting for the University of Alabama System Board of Trustees.
Others who will have new contracts considered Tuesday include women’s basketball coach Kristy Curry, men’s tennis coach George Husack, gymnastics coach Ashley Johnston, rowing coach Glenn Putyrae, track and field coach Dan Waters and associate baseball coach Jason Jackson. As general manager, Morgan has been an integral leader in landing what is currently ranked the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation and the N“Courtney is such an important part of our program,” DeBoer said in a statement on the UA website. “He has great relationships across the country and is an essential part of helping us recruit and evaluate talent both at the high school level and in the transfer portal.
