Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be facing new competition for one of their report transfer targets for next season.
Pirates were thought to be close to be wrapping up a new signing ahead of the new season., a long-term target now available for free. The speedy winger recently parted ways with former club Royal AM. It is reported the split came after the two parties could not agree on a improved terms for a new deal. Waiting on the wings, is believed to Pirates, who are club wanted the player even before he joined the Durbanites.
This publication reported just that Pirates and Mogaila were close to an agreement for next season. But in football, it doesn’t take long for things to change with the latest update possibly making the Buccaneers nervous. Firstly a later update from this publication revealed that Norwegian giantsare serious about signing the player. But that is not all. It has since been revealedthat arch rivals Chiefs are also interested in the player.
The links to Pirates or Chiefs have rather died down for Mogaila, which could give hope to SuperSport. It remains to be seen if the Soweto giants will eventually enter the conversation or if they were even interested to begin with. Both sides do appear to have cover in the wide positions, however.
