The new site will focus on statistics around renewable energy resources, net-zero goals in mining and agriculture and environmental stewardship work, in addition to specifics on carbon reduction targets.Article content The province has increased its carbon sequestration “by some 400 per cent,” according to the premier’s speech.“Saskatchewan is most certainly part of the solution, in any net carbon conversations.”
Billboards in major airports hubs across Canada will direct people to the new site, with the intent to “educate and inform,” the premier said Tuesday. “We want to ensure that everyone who has an interest or is involved in policies that are relevant to Saskatchewan, or is purchasing products from Saskatchewan are aware of just how sustainably those products are produced,” Moe said.Article content
