The docuseries will focus on the 30 year-long career of Robbie Williams, including his time in hit boyband Take That
Following on from the success of Netflix's David Beckham documentary, the streaming service is now set to release another docuseries. This time, it will explore the rise to fame of pop singer Robbie Williams.
"Featuring hundreds of hours of intimate, never-before-seen personal archive spanning 30 years, exclusive access to Robbie and helmed by an acclaimed filmmaking team including Asif Kapadia as an EP, this culture-defining series is the first of its kind to explore the real human being behind the salacious headlines".
It was first announced by the streaming platform on X -formerly known as Twitter - in September - alongside a teaser trailer. In the footage, snippets from Robbie at different points in his career are shown, from his early beginnings and him singing at Knebworth in 2003 to now. Netflix has previously created documentaries on a number of celebrities including David and Victoria Beckham, Lewis Capaldi, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
