Now, Netflix is best known for being a streaming service boasting acquired titles as well as original movies and television shows such as Stranger Things, Squid Game, Bridgerton, and To All the Boys I've Loved Before.

The New York Times ran a piece about the end of the Netflix DVD service, in which they interviewed several employees of the DVD branch of the company. General manager Hank Breeggemann reflected that "everything runs its cycle" while DVD sorting machine operator Edgar Ramos said "I’m sure we will all be crying" on the final day of operations.

Hank Breeggemann: It’s sad when you get to the end, because it’s been a big part of all of our lives for so long. But everything runs its cycle. We had a great 25-year run and changed the entertainment industry, the way people viewed movies at home.Edgar Ramos: I am sad. When the day comes, I’m sure we will all be crying. Wish we could do streaming over here, but it is what it is.Lorraine Segura: I’ve learned a lot here: how to fix machines, how to make goals and hit targets.
