Netflix is shutting down the mail order DVD service that launched the company, one of a series of changes as the streaming giant enters a new era.
The firm, which upended the entertainment industry as it moved from DVDs to streaming, is now struggling to reignite growth. It said it would widely extend its crackdown on password sharing in the next three months, including to the US.The company added 1.75 million paid members in the first three months of the year.
