CAPE TOWN - The Netball World Cup trophy has finally arrived in Cape Town, exactly three weeks before the start of the tournament.
Capetonians will have an opportunity to see it from Saturday before the first match in the city on the 28 July. The Netball World Cup trophy has been handed over to the City of Cape Town Deputy Mayor Eddie Andrews.Andrews said Cape Town was more than ready to host the tournament. "And we sincerely hope the trophy will remain on African shores, will remain on Cape Town's shores.
