Hot off the heels of hosting the Formula E event in February, Cape Town will play host to this year's Netball World Cup in July.

CAPE TOWN - Netball South Africa President Cecilia Molokwane has revealed that the Spar Proteas are ready for the world cup.

Hot off the heels of hosting the Formula E event in February, Cape Town will play host the Netball World Cup 2023 in July. Sixteen teams from across the world are expected to arrive for the prestigious international sporting event.She added that they're finalising the team to represent South Africa at the tournament.

"The team is ready. The girls look very well, we have a monthly report and a weekly report on the fitness and on the preparation of the team. The most important thing is the girls are getting more game time now," Molokwane added."It's becoming real that this World Cup is here now.
