It’s a mess Texas Pride Disposal may not be able to clean up fast enough.
On Wednesday, MUD #495 notified Katy homeowners that Texas Pride was no longer their provider for garbage and recycling.
Mark Searcy, who lives in the Marisol subdivision, said Best Trash came by Wednesday morning to pick up what Texas Pride left lingering for more than a week. “We actually had to get the attorney for the utility district involved.” Searcy said. “We’ve just been getting the runaround for two. Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. Tomorrow never came for Texas Pride.”“I guess it was just the lies that Texas Pride was given that made us say OK, we have to get with the new company and tried to get them to start early,” Searcy added.
Last Friday, the Heatherwood subdivision in Cypress signed a contract with Farmers after dumping Texas Pride for inconsistent service.
